Career highlights: My primary career- from 1999 to now- has been in the capacity of being a student, continuing this as a Public Interest Law Fellow at UMass Law as part of the class of 2021. In those years, I have thrived in my ability to successfully tackle new challenges and inspire female leadership. Concurrent with my academic studies, I interned with Governor’s Councilor Joe Ferreira, worked for a semester in Washington, D.C. for Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen as a Running Start Star Fellow; I campaigned during the historic 2016 election in the battleground state of Florida, and returned to work for Congressman Joe Kennedy III.

Community service: My Girl Scout Gold Award, GIRLS, offered programming for young women to become active political participants, has been the basis of my actions, especially as Miss Massachusetts International. At Worcester State University, I was appointed to two governance boards, the All University and Academic Ceremonies Committees, elected to the Student Senate, and ran a campaign for SGA President, Have a Heart Auction Co-Chair, and advocated to both federal and state legislators for higher education, and assisting with the Love Where You Live campaign. At Somerset Berkley, I ran a voting registration for seniors as well as annually working the Somerset election booths and town meeting.

Ideal SouthCoast: My ideal SouthCoast would thrive in the tourist capital it deserves to be. There are so many amazing things about the SouthCoast that should be realized at the national level, from the textile history of Fall River, to the whaling empire in New Bedford and beyond. Although there are already great efforts to make this happen, making the SouthCoast an even superior tourist hub is an incredible potential that will allow the area to boom, and improving life for all of those who live and travel here.
